Alena's Room

For my sister's housewarming (2011), I decorated my niece's bedroom for under $300. Sadly, we did not take before pictures, but  the only thing that was original to the room was the Apricot wall color and the T.V.

Here are the after...

The floor is a laminated parquet floor tile, purchased at Home Depot. To save money, we only tiled the ares that were visible. To finish the floor, placed area rug in the middle of the floor to help reduce the number of tile that we needed to use. The area rug was purchased in Home Depot's clearance section.     

The butterflies on this wall inspired the room's conpect. Her parent's each decorated a mirror (ikea $2.99), to add their personal touch to the room. 

The curtains are shower curtains from Target. The crib was also purchased in Target in there clearance section ($119 originally $199). The best part was that we were able to get the crib that they had originally selected.
